Mission Statement
The Lancaster Plastic Surgery Society exists to advance the art and science of plastic and reconstructive surgery through education, collegial exchange, and unwavering commitment to the highest ethical and clinical standards.
Membership is limited exclusively to surgeons who are diplomates of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and who practice in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This restriction ensures that every member has completed the rigorous training, examination, and continuous certification required by the only plastic surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
Through scientific meetings, journal clubs, professional networking, and mutual support, the Society fosters excellence in patient care, promotes ethical practice, and strengthens the local community of board-certified plastic surgeons.
Our Purposes

Founding
The Lancaster Plastic Surgery Society was established to create a focused local organization for board-certified plastic surgeons in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It complements the broader work of the Robert H. Ivy Pennsylvania Plastic Surgery Society while addressing the specific needs of surgeons practicing in this region.
